The purpose of the UAA Safety Summit is to bring together a representative group of utility vegetation management high potential performers
with a variety of views and experiences to develop safety champions within our industry that have the ability to
positively impact their companies’ safety culture at the crew level and beyond.
This summit has been developed to promote the constructive exchange of ideas and information. The goal of the summit is to help organizations develop a safety culture that is measurable by reducing incidents. These summits allow all levels to come together & learn hands on with experts on
various topics for 1-1/2 days.

 Our UAA Safety Summit Planning Committee has worked hard to pull together a great event for you!

 We will be hosting an amazing line up of speakers who will be presenting on topics such as:

• Chainsaw Safety: Connor Larson; STIHL  
• Live Line Demo
• Safety is in the Cards: Dr. John Ball; South Dakota State University
• Trees under Tension: Tim Walsh; The Davey Tree Expert Company
